The Singapore Boy takes on Berhala Island

Fish cage.....

Berhala Island

The other part of Berhala Island

Met my new friend on the way to the island, the jellyfish.
This is just a throwback on my trip to Berhala Island. Berhala Island is located near Sandakan, Malaysian North Borneo state of Sabah. Berhala island has its own history. For your information, Berhala Island is used to keep the prisoner of war during the Japanese invasion in Sabah. As I was being told, there are some graves in Berhala island that belong to the prisoner of war. Now, Berhala Island remain unoccupied as nobody is staying there. Besides, it is not so far from the Philliines border. You can see some islands that belong to the Phillipines on your way to Berhala Island. If you are planning to go for a day trip to Berhala Island, you can request it from your tourist guide. I am not sure of the entrance fees as all my trip in Sabah was paid, I mean fully paid. It was so amazing.
Splendid view from the speedboat
