Terengganu O Terengganu

Terengganu is a state on the east coast of the Malaysian Peninsular. Most of the Terengganu people are Malay, but there are some Chinese and Indian too. I visited Terengganu for a school trip along with my 6 other schoolmates in 2012. It was an amazing trip. We did a lot of activities. Our first night was well-spent in KL. The next day, we went to Terengganu by bus. It took approximately 6 hours to Terengganu from KL by bus. Well, of course we had stopped to a few R&R (Rest Station). As that was my first visit to the east coast of the peninsular ( I often go to KL only), I was pretty excited.

To be honest, upon arrival in Terengganu, we were brought to a beach, Pantai Batu Buruk. The view was splendid. It was magnificent that we took hundreds of photos. Thank god we did not take thousands.
At Pantai Batu Buruk
Then, we headed to our homestay, the place that we call home for 5 days. The condition was okay. A room for 2. Not bad isn't it for a school trip? But I noticed that when I was in Terengganu, most of the people are religious. We need to use long pants to cover our aurat (the rule for clothing in Islam). But, that is not a problem. Terengganu is a state that has a lot of scenic views, magnificent beaches, beautiful island and the best of all, delicious food. Although Terengganu does not have many shopping malls or department stores like you can see in KL or even in my hometown, Kuching, but that is just fine for a nature lover, but not me. I can't. But there are places that you can visit such as the Terengganu State Museum, Crystal Mosque, Pasar Payang, Batik Factory ( we visited Noor Arfa Batik Factory) etc.

Well, it was amazing I must say. For people who enjoy scuba diving, it is suggested that to give it a try in Terengganu. Don't forget to eat the Keropok Lekor. It was the best that you can ever taste.

PEPERO DAY, A DAY OF HAPPINESS

Dear readers, today is the second Tuesday of November. What does this means? To be exact, today is Pepero Day. What is Pepero? Some of you know what is Pepero while some do not have any idea about what the heck is Pepero. Pepero is a snack or chocolate sticks that are manufactured by a Korean Company, Lotte. If you visit South Korea, there is an amusement park named Lotte World. Well, Lotte is almost the same company like Nestle, where it has various types of products using different name. For instance, Nestle has Milo, Coca-cola etc. So do Lotte Group. Lotte has amusement park, cinemas, food products, department stores etc. But that is just a rough idea on the manufacture of Pepero.

On Pepero day, usually people will give Pepero to their beloved friends and families. This is to show their love and.....nahh...that is just for happiness of everybody. It is great to enjoy Pepero with your beloved ones.
Bought my Pepero for my friends and family
When I first get to celebrate Pepero day, it was with my Korean Lecturer and friends. It was amazing. My lecturer bought boxes of Pepero and gave it to her students. To be frank, all my Korean lecturers were amazing, kind and awesome. So, I hope you guys will enjoy your Pepero Day like me, although I celebrate it alone here.

KOREAN 한국어

안녕하세요?
제 이름은 루자이니 라고 합니다.
저는 말레이시아 사람 입니다.
저는 한국어를 배웠습니다.
하지만, 저는 여자 친구 없거든.

Hey guys. I know some of you may wonder what the hell I'm talking about. That is the basic introduction in Korean. I have attended Korean Language Course for 9 months last year and I learnt up to level 2A. Well, I know that is still the beginner level, but Korean Language ain't easy especially when it comes to listening (듣기). For reading, writing and speaking, you can handle it with care. For your information, I was given only 3 days to master the Korean writing system, Hangeul (한글). That sounds insane because I have no basic knowledge in Korean Language. However, don't worry. The Korean writing system is easy compared to the Chinese writing system and the Japanese writing system.
To be able to write in Korean, one need to know the vowels and consonants. When you know the vowels and consonants, it is easier for you to write the words in Korean. There are apps that you can download on Google Playstore for Android and Apple Store. You may download 'SNU LEI' on playstore or apple store to learn how to write in Korean. Within a few days, you are able to write your own name in Korean. Try it. It may give you advantage with the knowledge of extra language.

Career at Bloomberg

Dear readers, I am pretty sure that some of you have heard about Bloomberg. Bloomberg offers job opportunity mostly to fresh graduates. I heard about this from one of my lecturer. Her daughter is currently in her second year of undergraduate studies in one of the local universities here in Malaysia. She applied for job in Bloomberg and did employment test and interview in Bloomberg headquarters in KL. She got the job offer but it is unfortunate that she hasn't completed her undergraduate studies. So, she rejected the offer and continue with her studies. But, that is not the main point here. I just wanna share that if you find difficulties in finding job, you can try here in Bloomberg.

Internet Dilemma

Love me like you do. I am currently doing nothing here in my hometown. I am trying to raise fund for my studies next year through online surveys and online business. So, internet speed is vital for me. It is so unfortunate that the internet speed here in Malaysia is extremely slow. Most Malaysians pay more than any other nations to surf the internet at a higher speed. However, paying more doesn't guarantee a faster internet. In fact, the internet in Malaysia is ranked among the most expensive yet among the slowest. When we compare Malaysia with its neighboring country, Singapore, the Republic has the fastest broadband connection in the world. That makes me jealous of the Singaporean. They are able to use faster internet, and as I told you, internet speed is vital for online tasks. I hope the internet speed in Malaysia will change drastically and compete with all the well-developed nations like Singapore, South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong. A better internet speed is essential for the people.
